He aimed at the stars like Ares
bent on shielding off the sun
unfocused, he missed the skies
his arrows went unattended
like the willful son of a bastard
father
fettered in penury by a whore
she comes from the depth of loneliness
where she is hurt by the tongue of her
fair one
crying to the heavens in blankness
no one was there to oil her glory
will he succumb to fate?
fate has dealt him a cruel blow
head turn stomach
will she recede to dejection?
she will never trust a he-man again
they are both faithless
looking for perfection where there is
none
only
together will they gel
